WELCOME!
Thank you for stopping by the CCPL website. As you may have noticed, right now there are some dead links, some blanket terms, and some other things that show JUST HOW MUCH WE WANT TO GROW!!! It also shows that we weren't 100% percent ready for our brand new web site launch. The reason is that we ARE 100% committed to bringing yo the best site we can.
The amount of time and energy everyone here (at the CCPL) has put into not just the site, but upcoming events, promotions, and other surprises, some of which we hear you are already buzzing about, takes a lot of time and energy. Like many of you, many of us still have 40 hours a week or so devoted to other things, and we've found that not a lot of companies (we won't name names!) don't like us updating on the clock. "Firewalls" make it tough to do on a lunch break, and afterwards we do what we can when not setting up the events of the week. Rest assured, you'll see some good stuff again soon.
COMING SOON
In the weeks or months ahead, our first priority will be getting all of the old content from the site we've been building for years moved onto this new system, cleaned up, and updated. Each different incarnation, form the TRIPOD site to the Yahoo site, to the other ones (yes, including fan sites, Joe) will be brought in. Unfortunately we have to coordinate with everyone who has helped out, double check a few things, and maybe do a little editorial work. Those of you who were around in 2004 will know what I mean, and why it will have to be cleaned up IF we decide to keep it as part of our history.
After we get a lot of the old stuff back up, we would like to try some new things. Regular scores and rankings, tips and tricks, and we plan on taking suggestions from regular players on what they would like to see that is new, different, and exciting! Not only can't we wait, we can't even imagine what will happen! We're looking at the flop now, but the boat is sooooo far off!

When we can, we will get a new mailing list set up. I know we have a lot of addresses, but for the new one we will ask that everybody sgns up again. We still have a bunch of Juno, AtHome, and WebTV addresses listed in our system, so we know the list could use a reshuffle. Until then, stop back when you can. See you at the next game!
